Young Health Programme Impact Fellowship 2024 by AstraZeneca | OYW Summit

Applications for the Young Health Programme Impact Fellowship 2024 are now open! This international fellowship aims to empower young people who advocate for a healthier and more sustainable future for youth and the world. The Young Health Programme (YHP) is an initiative of AstraZeneca that welcomes applications from young leaders from all around the world who want to work for health equity and climate change. The Impact Fellowship is conducted in collaboration with AstraZeneca’s Young Health Programme which forms an integral part of AstraZeneca’s sustainability initiative, mainly in healthcare. Each year, this health fellowship selects aspiring leaders who strive to enhance equitable health outcomes by improving access to healthcare, strengthening health systems, addressing climate-health issues, and nurturing the next generation of health advocates. So, if you are a young leader ready to create a healthier future for youth, society, and the environment, you must apply before the deadline!

In addition, since 2016, AstraZeneca through its YHP, has joined forces with One Young World (OYW) to recognize and support young leaders who are working for improving youth health within their communities. Similarly, the Young Health Programme Impact Fellowship offers fellows the chance to participate in the OYW Summit 2024 in Canada for free. Therefore, YHP fellows benefit greatly by applying for the YHP Impact Fellowship Programme in 2024. The One Young World Summit is a great platform for young people to turn their plans into actions and get training from AstraZeneca’s Fellowship. The YHP Fellowship Program is a comprehensive training program. It combines research and advocacy, community programs and supports the development of young leaders. Therefore, the Young Health Programme Scholarship 2024 is an excellent development program for young people from all over the globe.

Similarly, the Young Health Programme by AstraZeneca is a global initiative aimed at disease prevention, with a particular emphasis on youth aged 10 to 24 residing in vulnerable and underprivileged communities worldwide. The Young Health Programme Impact Fellowship is a fantastic opportunity for young leaders to support a sustainable and healthy future for young people. In addition, the AZ Young Health Programme allows fellows to participate in an international fellowship and be a part of the OYW network.

    Are you a passionate young leader working towards a healthier future or youth? If yes, you must apply for the AstraZeneca Young Health Programme Fellowship. Before you do, go through the eligibility criteria for this fellowship in Canada.

    Eligibility Criteria for Young Health Programme Impact Fellowship 2024:

    • Applicants must be between 18 and 30 years old to be eligible for the AstraZeneca fellowship.
    • The YHP fellowship is open to citizens of all countries from around the world.
    • While most delegates fall within the 18-30 age range, the selection committee may consider applications from individuals over 30, if they demonstrate personal impact and a willingness to engage.
    • Moreover, proficiency in English, including speaking, reading, and writing, is a requirement.
    • Fellows must be able to fully participate in the One Young World Summit (OYW) that will take place between 17 and 22 September 2024, in Montreal, Canada.
    • Selected applicants must also actively engage in both the YHP Impact Fellowship. Failure to do so may end the fellowship benefits.
    • In addition, YHP Fellows should be willing to share insights and collaborate on action commitments, build partnerships, and serve as ambassadors for AstraZeneca’s health equity and YHP initiatives as appropriate.
    • To be eligible for the Young Health Programme Impact Fellowship, access to the internet and a compatible device is necessary to take part in live online fellowship sessions.

    Benefits of YHP Impact Fellowship Programme 2024:

    • YHP Fellows will get access to the AstraZeneca Young Health Programme (YHP) Impact Fellowship, offering a blend of live and self-paced learning opportunities throughout the year to support Fellows in expanding their impact.
    • This program includes participation in an online mini-MBA program accredited by a university, with 12 months of access to materials and additional opportunities for development.
    • Fellows will receive complete access as delegates to attend the One Young World Summit 2024 in Canada.
    • They will also receive round-trip air travel from their home country to Montréal, with flights arranged by the OYW delegate services team (economy class only).
    • Moreover, the fellowship also covers accommodation in Canada, with shared hotel rooms.
    • It also includes catering services, including dinner on 18 September and breakfast, lunch, and dinner from 19 to 21 September, as well as breakfast on 22 September.
    • The YHP Fellowship also offers daily allowance of up to £48 per day for travel to Montréal and for the days preceding and following the Summit, that is 17, 18 and 22 September.
    • Reimbursement of the Canada visitor visa application fee, approximately $110 Canadian Dollars, if applicable.
    • It covers transportation from the airport to the hotel by public transport upon arrival.
