Applications are open for Lisa Jardine Grant Scheme for junior researchers for the year 2022. The Royal Society has organized Lisa Jardine Grant Scheme, named after British historian Professor Lisa Jardine CBE FRS. The grant scheme highly encourages junior researchers of humanities and arts for enhancing their interests in the history of science and interdisciplinary studies. Grants enabled researchers of different disciplines and countries for stimulating science research. It is requested that applicants look over the Royal Society’s strategic objectives and demonstrate their research by generalizing goals. Applications will get notification based on the academic content of intellectual history, history of science and other related disciplines. Special consideration will receive topics of Professor Jardine’s interest in the 17th century.
This grant will offer £2,000 for travelling and living expenses for the duration of a maximum of three months for international and domestic students. The other type of grant provides £2,000 for the travel of international participants for research trips. Scholars based in the non-UK organization can only apply for the grant to travel to the UK to incorporate research at the Royal Society.
