Applications are open for the UAE University Scholarship for international students for the academic year 2022-2023. International students interested in pursuing higher education in the United Arab Emirates can apply for fully funded scholarships for undergraduate programs. United Arab Emirates University welcomes international students from all over the world and grants full and partial scholarships covering full tuition fees and a 50% tuition fee waiver.

Those who have managed to secure excellent grades in their high school can avail this opportunity of getting their full tuition fee covered. Apply to experience studying at the first national university of UAE. United Arab Emirates University was founded by Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan in 1976 with an aim to become a research-intensive university on international levels. There are almost 13,000 students currently enrolled.

    Eligibility Criteria :

    Here are the eligibility criteria for the UAE University scholarship for international students:

    • Applicants must have an intermediate certificate or equivalent.
    • They must have secured 97% in high school.
    • English language proficiency, IELTS with band 7 or 1675 score on EmSAT English test or equivalent to any of these. 
    • Applicants must have any of the following scores (or equivalent):
    1. Minimum 680 in Math SAT subject test level 2.
    2. Minimum 1500 in Math EmSAT, for all colleges except for College of Law, Literary track in College of Education and Arabic Programs in College of Humanities and social sciences and college of Business and economics. 
    3. Score 1359 in EmSAT Arabic for students enrolled in College of Law, Literary track in College of Education and Arabic Programs in College of Humanities and social sciences.
    • Students must maintain a GPA of 3.8 out of 4.0 during their undergraduate degree.
    • Students must complete the 15 credit hours each term (or more) during their university period.

    • Students who have completed their high school diploma/degree can apply for UAE university scholarship through an online process. 
    • Applications must be submitted during the timeline provided by the university.
    • The applications will open in May, June, and July for the first academic semester. The second round of applications will start in September and November for the 2023 intake.
