The Transformative Urban Coalitions Video Pitch Contest 2025 is a component of the Transformative Urban Coalitions (TUC) initiative, which is a collaborative effort among international partners such as IDOS, IIED, WRI, and UNU-EHS. Its main goal is to rethink cities as places where neighborhood fixes have a significant influence and spur larger social change. Individuals who will participate in this paid challenge will get an opportunity to join the “Global Mutirão” movement, which emphasizes the importance of small-scale community efforts in accomplishing global sustainability and climate goals.
The Transformative Urban Coalitions Video Pitch Contest 2025 is a paid competition. The winner with the best video pitch will get a payment of 800 USD, the second-best video pitch will win a payment of 500 USD, and the third best video pitch will receive a payment of 300 USD. Winners will receive recognition on a global scale. In addition to international recognition, the winners will also get the opportunity to have their video screened at the Capacity-Building Hub during COP 30 in Belém, Brazil.
