This program provides intermediate studies to senior academics, active in any discipline within the social sciences and humanities and based in any country abroad, with the opportunity to travel for a period of four years to the United Kingdom and make a contribution to the research from the United Kingdom. higher education.
Each four-year appointment is intended to be a complete project in itself and is expected to involve a specific research approach, although the British Academy does not have a preferred model for the time balance between research and teaching (which may vary in the course of the award and will depend on the needs of the host institution in the United Kingdom).
