Application are now open for the Young Global Changers 2019- Summer school fully funded in Germany! The Global Solutions Summit brings the next generation of problem solvers from around the world to Berlin to contribute their points of view and ideas.
Young people are dedicated, passionate and essential to shaping a better future. Therefore, in 2017, the Global Solutions Initiative launched the Young Global Changers (YGC) program to attract students and young professionals who are passionate about changing the world for the better. Every year they gather their knowledge and skills to innovate and implement new solutions that can face today’s challenges and the challenges of the future. YGC strives for diversity: in its first year it received 100 participants from 100 different countries. In the future, YGC will become a permanent global network as part of the Global Solutions Initiative (GSI).
As part of the Global Changer Summit 2019, they invite outstanding young talents with first class results in their academic discipline and participate in society, in social, political or environmental activities, to participate in the Global Solutions Summit and at their school Of summer. From March 16 to 20, 2019 in Berlin.
For five intense days, participants will connect with policy thinkers and policy leaders from think tanks, politics, businesses and civil society to share ideas and knowledge. During the workshops and conferences, participants work with luminaries from the academy and the economy, as well as thought leaders of world renown. Participants will be able to attend talks and discussions at the 2019 Global Solutions Summit and will be involved with the content and ideas discussed at the summit.
At Young Global Changers 2018, more than 2,000 early career professionals from more than 160 countries submitted their application for the YGC 2018 Summer School. A jury selected 120 of them to attend the Global Solutions Summit and work to develop global solutions. .
The Global Solutions Initiative (GSI) is a global collaboration company to propose policy responses to the main global issues, addressed by the G20, the G7 and other global governance forums. Policy recommendations and strategic visions are generated through a research program disciplined by leading research organizations, drawn up in policy dialogues between researchers, policymakersw, business leaders and representatives of civil society.
