FULLY FUNDED DAAD SCHOLARSHIP 2019 FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS IN GERMANY

Applications are currently underway for a FULLY FUNDED DAAD SCHOLARSHIP 2019 for international students in Germany. The scholarship is designed for all students who have completed their first degree in any discipline to study at any university of choice in Germany. This scholarship program offers you the opportunity to continue your academic education in Germany with a postgraduate course.

The DAAD supports more than 100,000 German and international students and researchers from around the world each year, making it the largest funding organization of its kind in the world. We also promote internationalization efforts in German universities, help developing countries build their own higher education systems and support German studies and German language programs abroad. Scholarship Timeline:

For a postgraduate or master’s degree completed in Germany:

Between 10 and 24 months depending on the duration of the chosen study program.
Scholarships are awarded for the duration of the standard study period for the chosen study program (up to a maximum of 24 months). To receive more funds after the first year of study for the 2-year courses, the proof of academic achievement so far must indicate that the study program can be successfully completed within the standard study period.
Applicants who are already in Germany in the first academic year of a postgraduate or master’s program of 2 years at the time of their application can apply for a scholarship for the second year of study. In this case, it is not possible to extend the scholarship.
For a period of study in Germany as part of a postgraduate or master’s degree completed in a foreign country:

usually an academic year; an extension is not possible.
The scholarship usually begins on October 1, or earlier, if the student takes a language course before the program of studies.

      Selection:

    Benefits :

    • Payments of the scholarship of 750 euros per month.
    • Payments for health insurance coverage, accidents and personal liability.
    • Travel allowance, unless these expenses are covered by the country of origin or other funding source
    • Single assignment for studies
    • Under certain circumstances, scholars may receive the following additional benefits
    • Contribution to tuition fees that the university can charge (maximum € 500.- per semester)
    • Monthly rental subsidy
    • Monthly allowance for companions of relatives.
    • To allow scholarship holders to learn German in preparation for their stay in the country, DAAD offers the following services:
    • Payment of the course fees for the online language course “Deutsch-Uni
    • Online (DUO)” (www.deutsch-uni.com) during the six months after the receipt of the grant award letter.
    • if necessary: language course (2, 4 or 6 months) before the start of the study visit; The DAAD decides whether to finance the participation and for how long, depending on the skills and the German language project. Participation in a language course is compulsory if the study program is taught in German.
    • Assignment for a German language course chosen personally during the scholarship period
    • Reimbursement of the fees for the TestDaF exam that was carried out in the country of origin after receiving the Letter of Award of the scholarship or in
    • Germany before the end of the funding period
    • As an alternative to the TestDaF for trainees who have taken a language course in advance: the fee for a DSH exam made during the period of the scholarship can be reimbursed.
