    Eligibility Criteria for LensCulture Art Photography Awards 2024:

    • The LensCulture competition is open to photographers from all around the world, including both professional and amateur photographers.
    • To be eligible for the competition, participants must be 18 years or older.
    • Upon entering the Art Photography Awards competition, participants must adhere to the competition rules.
    • Moreover, submissions that have previously won cash prizes in LensCulture competitions are ineligible for cash prizes in the following competitions.
    • New/original work is a requirement for the LensCulture Art Photography Awards.
    • However, submissions that were the Finalists in previous competitions remain eligible for cash prizes in future contests.
    • While a photographer can receive multiple cash awards, the same photograph or series cannot win multiple cash prizes. If a series or photo was submitted to a previous competition but did not receive a prize, it remains eligible for consideration.
    • Cash prizes will be given through wire transfer or other electronic methods, with any incurred foreign currency transfer fees deducted from the winning amount. No cash alternatives are applicable for any prizes.
    • LensCulture reserves the right to disqualify and remove any photograph that does not meet the specified requirements.
    • Entrants must be the sole copyright owners and creators of the photographs.
    • Similarly, the photographs must not contain any content that is infringing, threatening, false, misleading, abusive, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, scandalous, inflammatory, or profane.
    • The photographs should not infringe upon the copyrights, contract rights, trademarks, or any other intellectual property rights of third parties.
    • Moreover, all entrants must confirm that each person depicted in the photograph has granted permission to be portrayed as shown and has the right to grant such permission.

    Benefits of the LensCulture Photography Awards:

    • The Art Photography Competition includes several cash awards and recognition. For the series prize winners, the first-place winner gets $3,500, the second-place winner gets $2,000, and the third-place winner receives $1,000.
    • Similarly, for the single image prize winners, the first-place winner gets $2,000, the second-place winner gets $1,000, and the third-place winner will receive $500.
    • Each juror will individually select a Juror’s Pick, hence receiving special distinction, including quotes from experts praising the selected series or single images.

    • Moreover, first, second, and third place winners in the Series category receive a solo feature on LensCulture.

    • LensCulture Art Photography Awards winners will get international press exposure with big names in the industry like The Guardian, British Journal of Photography, The Telegraph, and The New York Times. 
    • Likewise, winning photos will be displayed at an exhibition in New York during The Photography Show.

    • All applicants must visit the official website to apply or click on the ‘apply now‘ link below. You must also first create an account.
    • Make sure to upload high-quality photographs for the Art Photo Awards. 
    • By entering, you allow LensCulture to receive and review your registration data, including any personal information.
    • All submissions undergo a preliminary review by LensCulture’s editors and an international panel of industry professionals. 
    • The shortlisted entries then proceed to evaluation by the international jury, which ultimately determines the winners. The decisions of the jury are final for the LensCulture Art Photography Awards. 

    Application Deadline for the LensCulture Art Photography Awards 2024:

    • The deadline to apply for the LensCulture Art Photography Awards is 13 December 2023.
