simply just IMAGINE if 2020 … is an annual international competition of social enterprise and innovation, organized by the University of Durham and the founder of Ella’s Kitchen, Paul Lindley.

The competition is open to anyone around the world who has a business idea that addresses at least one of the UN Sustainable Development Goals. simply IMAGINE if … it exists to drive social, economic and environmental change in the world by helping small ideas become realities of great impact.

    Each finalist will receive guidance from a leading entrepreneur and professional training from One Young World to refine their presentation before the event and attend a custom course at Durham Business School.

    • The main prize for IMAGINE if … 2020 is a research and support package to the Durham University School of Business valued at £ 70,000.
    • The University will work with the winner to identify the most relevant group of research experience that will most benefit their product and the development of their business.
    • Durham University Business School will provide a 12 month support package for the winner.
    • Sponsors also provide a variety of additional support packages for the winner, which with University support yields a total prize value in excess of £ 100,000
    • The ten finalists will spend two days at the Durham University Business School (from March 31 to April 1, 2020) attending a variety of workshops, directed and working with Business School academics and skilled entrepreneurs.
      The ten finalists will also receive:
    • Expert support in public speaking of One Young World to prepare for the delivery of your presentation at the IMAGINE just if… 2020 final
    • An invitation to attend a half-day workshop with the award-winning marketing team at Ella’s Kitchen, the number one baby food brand in the United Kingdom, to experience how to create love and trust in the brand in a unique and possible way (date likely, subject to change: April 3, 2020)
    • A 1-hour review for Investor Pitch Deck with corporate finance experts at YF Funding, and a £ 100 credit for a Young Foodies prepared business template
