Goethe Institut Fellowship Program is an opportunity for individuals interested in AI or already working on AI projects or products for societal development. If you have a knack for coming up with ideas that can cater to the needs of the local society and work with a diverse group of people, then this is the perfect opportunity for you. This fellowship will select 80 participants from all around the world. The fully-funded fellowship will consist of online sessions and physical meetings upon selection of your idea.
This international fellowship program with its theme of “AI to Amplify,” will consist of seminars, networking events and workshops in the first phase of the fellowship. The coders and developers from diverse areas like Global North and global South can apply. Sociologists, philosophers, artists, lawyers and activists who can contribute to the idea development are highly encouraged to apply. This program will also allow you to meet social activists, gain a new perspective, and network internationally. As this fellowship aims to allow people from different backgrounds, they believe in making a mix of a highly diverse team. They encourage women, people with disabilities, people without a degree and people with diverse professional backgrounds to avail themselves of this opportunity and make a difference.
The Goethe Institut fellowship program 2023 is free of cost, and the organization will cover all the expenses. This fellowship program will kick off with two-month online sessions for the idea development for the project, which will cater to the local needs of the community to which the individuals belong. The individuals are expected to put forth their input for the idea. After the two months, six teams will be shortlisted for further execution of the idea, upon which they will also provide seed money and a monthly stipend. This fully-funded program will allow individuals to join the worldwide community. The fellowship will commence in May 2023.
