    Eligibility Criteria for the KAIST Undergraduate Scholarship:

    • All international students can apply.
    • Students aiming to apply must have completed high school.
    • Applicants with dual nationality cannot apply for this scholarship.
    • Students should maintain a GPA of at least 2.7 of 4.3 after the first year.
    • Korean applicants who studied outside of Korea are also eligible.

    KAIST Undergraduate Scholarship Requirements:

    Following are the documents required with the undergraduate admission application form:

    • Online application form
    • Recommendation letter (written and submitted by an academic advisor, homeroom teacher, or a math/science teacher directly)
    • High school transcript
    • Official English proficiency test score (TOEFL, TEPS, IELTS TOEIC)
    • Passport and National ID card
    • Statement of financial resources
    • Honours and awards (optional)
    • Standardized Test Score Reports (SAT, AP, IB, GCE A-Level, ACT, high school leaving exam, and university entrance exam results and Certificate of International Olympiad to be submitted).

    Note: Applicants from English speaking countries are exempted to submit English proficiency test score. Moreover, international students who completed their high schools in English (English must have been the language of instruction, including the language of the textbooks) are also exempted.

    Application Process:

    • Application process for the KAIST undergraduate scholarship 2023 is online.
    • Download the application form by visiting the official website and upload the documents’ scanned copies.
    • Pay the application fee.
    • Check the application form thoroughly before submitting.
    • Submit the form with documents before the deadline ends.
    • Recommenders must submit the recommendation letter directly through the link provided to them via email.
    • KAIST scholarship 2023 deadline is as follow:
    1. Early deadline: September 5, 2022 – October 21, 2022
    2. Regular deadline: November 8, 2022 – January 13, 2023
    3. Late deadline: March 1, 2023 – May 26, 2023
    • The applications for the KAIST undergraduate scholarship opens three times a year.
    • Results will be announced by January, March and June 2023 respectively.
