Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant Program 2022/23

Eligibility Criteria :

Here are the eligibility criteria for the Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant:

• At the time of application, the applicant must be a resident of the country of nomination.
• Have a solid academic record and the equivalent of a U.S. bachelor’s degree; Many colleges and universities value master’s degrees.
• Are adaptable and eager to learn new things
• Furthermore, they can work creatively and independently while also eager to collaborate as part of a team with students, staff, faculty, staff, and students.
• Applicants must show integrity, maturity, professionalism, and dependability clearly.
• Also, they can live in both rural and urban settings.
• Furthermore, the applicant must not be a dual citizen of the United States to participate in the program.
• Applicant must be fluent in English, as demonstrated by a recent score of no less than 79-80 (Internet Based TOEFL – IBT), 550 (Paper Based TOEFL), or 6.0 (Overall Score International English Language Testing System – IELTS).
• Test scores can be submitted to IIE by indicating the institutional code 2326 on the test day.
• In addition, an applicant must be an early career English teacher or in the process of becoming one, or an early career educator in a relevant discipline; prior teaching experience is recommended.
• Have a genuine desire to teach original language and culture to American kids.
