    Application Process:

    • YSI’s global program receives around 10,000 applicants per year, and only accepts 25 people. The reason for this is that they believe in focusing on some new companies, as it would drain our resources to absorb many more. That is why they intend to expand the program to other regions, led by people from these regions, but more on this on some other time.
    • Applicants must go through 4 rounds to enter the program, and they do a great job to make sure that we select the right people. It is not about selecting the best people, but rather establishing teams that we believe are the best together. They will not delve into the application process and the criteria since this cancels the purpose of having it in the first place (since people will begin to respond to what they think we want to hear, which we do not always know).
