The Young Diplomats Forum (YDF) is an intensive week-long program of hands-on sessions, workshops, policy exercises and institutional visits led by leading experts from around the world.
Established to recognize, improve and develop the next generation of diplomats. This community of exceptionally bright and successful future leaders will gain more information, tools, and opportunities to engage with key stakeholders at a crucial moment in their careers and expand their connections to influence world leaders.
The 12th edition of the Young Diplomats Forum (YDF) is a gathering of 100 young diplomats and aspirants from more than 75 countries that cover all regions of the world to address pressing issues of international affairs.
Previous editions were held in Ankara (September 2013), Mexico (June 2014), London (September 2014), Greece (June 2015), Croatia (September 2016), Latvia (September 2017) and Malaysia ( September 2018).
The procedures and workshops of the forum involve young diplomats with ambassadors, parliamentarians, MEPs, government officials, media experts and diplomats on different global issues. In addition, the Young Diplomats Forum is a cultural and entertaining experience that creates an international friendship among the participants and relates to the institutions of the host country and connects with the place.
