Types of Scholarships:
VinUniversity Scholarships Merit-based Scholarships:
Merit-based Scholarships are for students with outstanding and excellent academic achievements and personal qualities. Students with ambitions and aspirations can think critically and outside the box, are courageous and proactive, and will not easily give up on their dreams. The amount of the scholarship granted depends on the academic achievements, potential and talent of the student according to the requirements of the Admissions Council. Merit-based Scholarships are available for the entire duration of the degree program. The scholarship amount varies between 50% to 100%. The scholarship will be automatically renewed every academic year if the student meets the renewal criteria of the scholarship. Students with exceptional talent and academic records will get full scholarships covering 100% of tuition fees with 1,500 USD for living expenses.
Additional Scholarships:
In addition to the merit-based scholarship, students can also get other scholarships. These additional scholarships include the Vinschool-Vinuni Scholarship, Vin Group Family Scholarship, Women in Tech (WIT) Scholarship, Specialized Academic Scholarship, and Special Gifted and Talented Scholarship. The additional scholarships range from 5% to 25%.
Financial Aids:
Students who meet the admission criteria of the VinUniversity, including international and Vietnamese students, face financial difficulties and need financial support. The level of financial aid of the VinUniversity depends on the family circumstances of the students, from 50% to more. The Admission Council will decide the amount.
VinUniversity Need-sensitive International Fellowship:
It covers the 50% – 80% tuition fee of the international student for the entire duration of the study at VinUniversity; the amount is equivalent to US$70,000 – US$ 112,000.
