This challenge is a global call to reach the most disruptive startups, entrepreneurs UNWTO Healing Solutions for Tourism and entrepreneurs and promote solutions to mitigate the impacts of COVID-19 on tourism through health, economic and destination management solutions. A step forward for sustainable development in a crisis situation.

The selection process will be,

Screening applications
Expert committee evaluation
Launch of the main startups
The results of this challenge are,

Support Member States and tourism stakeholders in identifying and mitigating tourism-related global and local risks: mitigation strategies, actions and instruments to assess risks of global and local importance.
Strengthen the coordination of all those interested in tourism throughout the tourism value chain.
Measures to facilitate international travel, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of travelers: including an exchange of information, the development of rules and procedures aimed at deterring threats, reducing costs and safeguarding the movement of travelers.
Promote the acquisition of technology and facilitate investment.

Application Process:

The application process for the fully funded DAAD EPOS Scholarship 2027 is online.

Applications must be sent directly to the respective University. Applications sent to the DAAD will not be considered or forwarded to the appropriate courses.

Applicants must send their complete application with all the required documents directly to the appropriate postgraduate course.

Applicants can apply for up to three postgraduate courses. If they choose more than one course, they must mention the list of courses in order of priority in the DAAD application form.

The application must be submitted in English or German.

A selection committee will suggest the potential applicants for this DAAD EPOS scholarship in Germany.

DAAD will contact the suggested applicants to upload their complete application to the DAAD Portal.

Make sure that you have a copy of each application document ready in PDF files, as those documents have to be uploaded to the DAAD Portal in case the applicant is suggested for the DAAD scholarship 2027.
