UNESCO’s International Fund for Cultural Diversity 2022 is now accepting applications. If you are public arts or cultural institution or a local or international non-governmental organization (NGO) with a project that will contribute significantly to the creative economy, you must apply!
The International Fund for Cultural Diversity is a fund established for the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions. The applications are open to projects from eligible countries and aim to assist in creating active cultural sectors in developing nations.
Objectives of the IFCD:
Projects must contribute towards:
- Strengthen the capacity of public and civil society organizations to support local and regional cultural industries and markets in eligible countries that abide by the IFCD’s aims and objectives.
- The implementation and elaboration of policies and strategies that directly impact the creation, production, distribution, and access to a diverse range of cultural goods and services in eligible countries that abide by the IFCD’s aims and objectives.
