The Global Business Challenge is a postgraduate study contest to design sustainable solutions to global problems. The theme of the 2019 edition of The Global Business Challenge is FinTech. This time it is about developing solutions to improve the confidence and the value of the client in the rendering of services of the financial sector.
The nature of the challenge is intended to be broad to encourage diversity in nature and the scope of proposed solutions. It can be considered that FinTech includes any technological innovation and automation of the financial sector. Examples may include advances in financial education, counseling and education, as well as streamlining wealth management, loans and loans, retail banking, fundraising, money transfers / payments, investment management, etc.
The competition will be held in two rounds. Round 1 is a virtual round that includes a virtual launch and the presentation of a 5-page Executive Summary of the proposed “Solution Concept”.
The winner of the first phase of the contest will be chosen as a finalist and will compete with others in Round 2 (Finals), which comprises an intense week-long competition held in Brisbane, Queensland. The winners are announced at the Gala Dinner, at the end of which the challenge of the following year is officially launched.
The 2019 GBC is intended to meet two objectives:
Identify potential real implementable solutions for a global business challenge; Y,
To provide students with a learning experience that fosters healthy competition, professionalism and interaction on the part of our future business leaders, both among them and with the business community.
