Global grants support international activities within the areas of Rotary focus:
Humanitarian projects provide sustainable and measurable results that address the real needs of the community.
Vocational training develops skills within a community through specific educational programs or by supporting teams of professionals traveling abroad to develop their own capacity or the capacity of the community they visit. Learn more about professional training equipment.

Districts must qualify to receive funds from the Rotary Foundation. Clubs that want to apply for global grants must also be qualified.
The qualification process helps ensure that districts or clubs understand their financial responsibilities, including administration, and are prepared to assume them. The qualification must be completed every year.
Qualified District
Qualifying is simple. The district governor, the governor-elect, and the president of the candidate’s Rotary Foundation must:
Read the district’s memorandum of understanding (MOU) on the grant application tool, answer a series of questions and accept the MOU
Conduct subsidy management seminars for clubs.
Candidates can return to review the document and the additional content provided as often as they wish. And candidates can also set additional qualification requirements for clubs.
Qualified club
If a candidate’s club wishes to apply for global grants, its president and president-elect must:
