NTU-SEARCA Joint Scholarship Program for Global ATGS

In partnership with SEARCA, National Taiwan University offers a scholarship for a master’s program in Global Agriculture Technology and Genomic Science. The scholarship aims to cultivate talent in the field of agriculture to promote research and development in Southeast Asia.

The citizens can avail the scholarship of member countries of the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization, such as Cambodia, Malaysia, Brunei Darussalam, Lao, Myanmar, Philippines, Thailand, Singapore Vietnam. The students can only enroll for the master’s program in ATGS. The scholarship will be awarded for 2 years.

The first round of application will end on November 20, 2020 and shortlisted applicants will be announced on November 30, and the second round of online application will end on February 5, 2021.  The applicants that are shortlisted will be contacted to apply for admission for ATGS program. Successful applicants will receive the scholarship.

    The applicants must be citizens of SEAMEO member countries.

    Must be under 35 years old.

    Planned research must be aligned with SEARCA’s overarching theme, and the research topics must fall in any of the following areas:

    Copy of BS diploma.

    If the applicant is employed, then a certificate of employment is required.

    Two recommendation letters.

    Brief description of the research planned by the applicant for the thesis.

    Two passport size photos.

    Health certificate stating the mental and physical fitness of the applicant (must be issued by a medical doctor).
