Opportunities circle is here with another grant. MAXQDA Research Grant 2022 is open for applications. Early-career scientists are welcome to apply. The program is an initiative of VERBI Software aiming to encourage research and networks. Participants of the grant receive financial support and training. MAXQDA provides methodological support to those in the initial stages of their research career. Research projects focus on supporting and raising women in fields like politics, peace and conflict, economy, social development, health, environment, human rights or other related areas.

This year the MAXQDA has been dedicated to the fifth goal of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal. The fifth goal is gender equality. The research proposals must result in the empowerment of women in different areas. The program supports the equal role of men and women in all proportions.

    Eligibility Criteria :

    Here are the eligibility criteria for the MAXQDA research grant:

    • Applicants can be from any country.
    • They must be an early career scientist. This means they must be an undergraduate or postgraduate student.
    • Moreover, if the applicant is a scientist, then their highest academic degree must have been completed in the past three years and not before that.
    • Must be conducting or intend to conduct qualitative research on female empowerment in political areas. The research method can be mixed.
    • The research project shall be based on women’s empowerment in politics, peace and conflict, economy, social development, health, environment, human rights or other related areas.
    • Furthermore, the participant must use or intend to use MAXQDA for research data analysis.
    • Knowledge of MAXQDA is not mandatory but can be a plus point.
    • Applicants must be willing to submit at least one research report or blog of not more than 1000 words. The report must be in English, completing the basic edits with the MAXQDA team.
    • Finally, the VERBI software GmbH employees, professional MAXQDA trainers and previous MAXQDA grant recipients are ineligible for this program.

    MAXQDA research grant provides the following benefits:
