The State Education Development Agency (SEDA) offers scholarships, with the subordination of the ministry of education and science; the State Education Development Agency SEDA, VIAA in Latvia, is the direct administration institution.
Scholarships are offered to pursue undergraduate, master and doctorate degree programs in Latvia. Students who want to study in the current year or 2023 intake are encouraged to apply. Latvian government scholarships are specially offered for students of such countries who have an agreement with the Latvian government. The medium of teaching is Latvian. However, some programs are also offered in English, so do not worry.
Latvian Government scholarships 2022 facilitates the students of undergraduate, master’s, and Ph.D. degrees. The scholarships for international students are offered for one academic year only; if they want to continue it for further years, they are required to apply for the scholarship again. The duration of bachelor’s and master’s degree programs is almost one year. Other Latvian study programs for 2 Academic years that cover the full duration of masters, like Latvian literature, Latvian phycology, Latvian culture, Latvian history, can also be taught.
