IREX COMMUNITY SOLUTIONS PROGRAM 2020-2021 IN USA – FULLY FUNDED

Currently, IREX is accepting applications for the 2020-2021 Community Solutions Program. The Community Solutions Program (CSP) is a one-year professional development program for people who work to improve their communities by addressing environmental issues, tolerance and conflict resolution, transparency and responsibility, and women and gender.

The Community Solutions Program is a fully-funded exchange program in the United States. The program covers most of the expenses of the selected candidates, including the cost of the visa, round trip, health and accident insurance, monthly allowance, meals, and other living expenses. The Community Solutions Program is a program of the Office of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the US Department of State. UU. And implemented by IREX.

IREX is a global development and education organization. We focus on people, not vaccines, roads or wells. We work in more than 100 countries on topics such as education, leadership, information and youth.

South and Central Asia: Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan. Western Hemisphere: Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, Jamaica, Paraguay, Peru, Trinidad and Tobago, and Uruguay.

    Eligibility Criteria :

    To be eligible for the program you must check the below-mentioned details

     

    • you should be  is between 25 and 38 years old as of January 1, 2020;
    • You are a citizen of one of the eligible mentioned in below
    • You are living and working in your country of origin;
    • People with refugee status who work on behalf of their home community may receive special consideration.
    • He has at least two years of experience working in community development, either as a full-time or part-time employee or volunteer;
    • Currently he does not participate in an academic, training or research program in the USA. UU.;
      Has a high level of proficiency in spoken and written English at the time of application;
    • Semifinalists will be required to take or submit recent scores for a TOEFL or IELTS English test.
    • It is available to travel to the USA. UU. For four months, from August to December 2020;
    • You are not a citizen or permanent resident of the USA. UU. And you have not applied for permanent residence in the US. UU. In the last three years;
    • You are eligible to receive a US J-1 visa. UU.
    • Applicants who have participated in an exchange program sponsored by the US government. UU.
    • They must have fulfilled their residency requirement in the home for two years.
    • You are committed to returning to your home country for a minimum of two years after completing the program;
    • You are not a current IREX employee or consultant, nor your immediate family member.
