International Youth Javanese Culture Camp 2019 is a deliberate collaboration organized by Studec International with the Directory of Research and Community Participation of the University of Indonesia and Sanggar Budi Rahayu (School of Javanese Culture).
This event is for young people concerned about the future of the culture of originality, and they intend to make real efforts to preserve morality. The event will also connect them as young leaders around them in the same spirit to solve problems of moral degradation and similar projects to solve problems in their community. IYJCC 2019 will take place in the village of Senden, one of the Javanese villages near Jogjakarta province.
The town of Senden, on the eastern slope of Mount Merbabu in Central Java, is a tourist destination that offers not only its beautiful landscapes but also a wealth of cultural traditions inherited from generations as its local wisdom. This event includes the Javanese culture learning program in a few days. Within this short period, students will stay in local houses (family accommodation) and mix with local people. While living with them, students will have the opportunity to study and enjoy the traditional performing arts and agricultural livelihoods in the village of Senden.
