HEC scholarships in Bangladesh for Pakistani students 2019-20

Applications are open to apply for HEC scholarships in Bangladesh for Pakistani students at the Islamic University of Technology in Dhaka (IUT) for a bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degree. IELTS is NOT necessary.

The Islamic University of Technology in Dhaka awards scholarships to Pakistani students who intend to enroll in bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees. Programs Since this scholarship is offered by the IUT, therefore, NO additional financial responsibility will be on behalf of the  Higher Education Commission Pakistan.

International applicants must submit an application through their nominating authority of the ICO member states to obtain a full or partial ICO scholarship. HEC is the nominating agency in Pakistan

    Eligibility Criteria :

    • Be a national and permanent resident of Pakistan / AJK of Pakistan / AJK. Dual citizenship will not be accepted.
    • The mode of communication is the English language. The English language proficiency certificate would be an advantage.
    • 12 years of high school certificate for undergraduate program
    • 16 years of education in fields of study relevant to the master’s program
    • 18 years of postgraduate qualification in the relevant field of study for admission to the doctoral program.
    • Applicants must meet other requirements established by IUT, Bangladesh.
    • Applicants are encouraged to submit their application in their respective programs with relevant background.
    • The application received in irrelevant programs will not be considered.

    Application Process:

    • First download and complete the IUT application forms. The application form links are available below.
    • Attach all required documents, that is, educational documents, police authorization and spiral medical certificate for submission to HEC.
    • Comply with all the requirements prescribed in the attached form; however, no financial payment can be made to the IUT authorities at this stage of the application process.
    • Apply through the HEC online application portal, that is, https://eportal.hec.gov.pk/loa.
    • Complete the complete online application in all aspects.
    • After successfully submitting the application form, obtain your paper copy and attach the payment receipt of Rs.300 / – only with the HEC application form.
    • All payments must be made to HEC through the HBL online service.
    • This facility is available at all Habib Bank Ltd branches in Pakistan.
    • A separate bank account No. 17427900133401 in HBL, Sector H-9, Shalimar Branch, Islamabad is maintained for online transfer of fees to HEC.
    • Send two sets of IUT application form along with the required documents in the spiral binding separately and a copy of the HEC application form with the receipt of the original fee separately in the spiral binding, on Wednesday, August 21 from 2019 or earlier at the address
