    Eligibility Criteria :

    Here are the eligibility criteria for the Gordon F. Henderson Postdoctoral fellowship:

    • Applicants can be Canadian nationals or non-Canadian.
    • International applicants must have a legal permit to reside in Canada for one year.
    • The applicant’s doctoral degree must not be older than five years as of December 31, 2022.
    • Applicant must have presented their thesis before April 30, 2022. 
    • They must agree to work at HRREC for the entire scholarship period.
    • Students of the University of Ottawa are ineligible for this scholarship.
    • Applicants must contribute to the development and activities of HRREC. 
    • Applicants must attend the program physically.
    • The host university will not cover the traveling cost.

    • Not more than a five-page summary of the doctoral thesis.
    • Written comments of examiners on the thesis.
    • Two letters of recommendation.
    • Five-page research proposal explains the postdoctoral project, the project objectives and outcomes.
