The Google for Education Certified Innovators Program recognizes and supports the best educators around the world who use technology to solve significant challenges in education.
Become an innovative certificate and join a community of more than 1,700 passionate educators in more than 50 countries that are excited to grow professionally, advocate for innovative technologies and drive school transformation.
The program begins with a three-day in-person Innovation Academy focused on helping new participants define, design and eventually launch a transformative project. After the Academy, innovators remain engaged through mentoring, continuous learning and development training, and Google’s special opportunities to advocate for transformative technologies and practices.
What will you create?
You will take your initial interviews about the challenge in your school or district and your challenge video and take it to the Google for Education Certified Innovators Academy. At the Academy, you will work with a small team and an innovative community coach. Your coach will support you before, during and after the Academy. You will experience practical design thinking sprints, work through ideas and brainstorming, prototyping, validation and proof of your idea, and finally launch your solution. You will be paired 1: 1 with a mentor from the Innovator community and work throughout the year to iterate and get support to make your project come alive!
