Fully Funded Youth4Regions: Aspiring Journalists Program

Are you studying journalism or are you a young journalist?
Are you between 18-30 and a citizen of an EU Member State or an EU neighbouring country?
Would you like to gain first hand work experience as a journalist in the capital of Europe?

Then this program is for you!

The European Commission invites the application for the Youth4Regions program with full funding. In addition, Youth4Regions is the program of the European Commission that helps journalism students and young journalists to discover what the EU is doing in their region. In addition, it encourages journalism students and young journalists to learn about regional policy and to communicate about specific projects co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the Cohesion Fund (CF). Specific objectives include:

Provide the framework and conditions for young and future journalists to specialize in Regional Policy
In addition, encourage young journalistic productions to promote awareness of EU-funded projects (ERDF and CF)
Also, promoting innovative means to cover the European Week of Regions and Cities.
Also, strengthen the links between European institutions and young Europeans.

    Eligibility Criteria :

    To be eligible for the Youth4Regions Journalism program with full funds, candidates must demonstrate:

    • Interest in what the regional policy of the EU is doing in your region.
    • Antecedents in journalism (studies or experience).
    • Citizen of the EU or neighboring country of 18 to 30 years.
    • has not participated in previous editions of the Youth4Regions program
    • Availability during October 6 to 11.
