Chevening British Library Fellowship 2023-24

Eligibility Criteria :

Following are the eligibility criteria for the Chevening fellowship program:

• Applicants must not hold British or dual British citizenship.
• Applicants must be able to reach up to the positions of leadership and influence.
• They should be able to demonstrate that they possess personal, intellectual, and interpersonal traits.
• Also, they must be citizens of the listed countries mentioned in this program.
• Applicants must return to their respective countries after the fellowship completion.
• They must hold postgraduate level qualifications (or equivalent professional training or experience in a relevant area) at the time of application.
• They must have significant professional/academic research experience (at least five years).
• Applicants must be currently employed or enrolled in a Ph.D. program. (Ph.D. must not be from UK/EU or USA university);
• Moreover, applicants must provide evidence of meeting at least the minimum English language abilities for Chevening awards.
• Furthermore, applicants must not be an employee, a former employee, or relative of an employee of the government or have been within the last two years since the opening of Chevening applications; (including British embassies/high commissions; Department for International Trade; the Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy; the Ministry of Defense; and the Home Office), or a working member of the Association of Commonwealth Universities.
