Application call for volunteers is open for the Beijing Olympics and Paralympics 2022
The Beijing Organizing Committee for the 2022 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games (Beijing 2022) is committed to a green, inclusive, open and clean approach to organizing the 2022 Beijing Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games (Games).
To attract talent from around the world for fantastic, extraordinary and excellent Games, Beijing 2022 begins its global recruitment of Games volunteers on December 5, 2019.
Beijing 2022 will recruit 27,000 volunteers for the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics and 12,000 for the Beijing 2022 Paralympic Winter Games.
Game volunteers fall into two broad categories: general volunteers and specialists. Specialist volunteers are those who have professional knowledge, skills and experience in a given area, including language, medical or driving services. Non-specialized volunteers are general volunteers.
Games volunteers will provide services at/for the opening and closing ceremonies, competition and/or other events of the Games at locations or facilities in the competition areas of Beijing, Yanqing or Zhangjiakou. Openwork areas for volunteering include international relations, competition operations, press and broadcasting operations, on-site operations, marketing, human resources, technology, cultural programs, logistics, security, and transportation, etc.
