Applications are open for the Berlin Summer Student Program in Germany 2022. The summer exchange program is an excellent opportunity for international students to spend 8 weeks in Germany. Every year the Helmholtz Zentrum University of Berlin invites young students from all over the world and provides them with a chance to work in the relevant fields, experience cross-culture and explore Berlin.
The international summer program is open for both male and female students. Berlin summer student program is one of the most exciting summer programs for international participants to learn and gain experience abroad. HZB allows undergraduate students to work on their own research projects under the supervision and cooperation of scientists and gain experience by participating in daily research work at experimental laboratories located at the institute campuses in Berlin; students will also get an opportunity for site visits.
International students currently pursuing degrees in one of the following fields: physics, material science, mathematics, chemistry, structural biology or related fields can apply for the Berlin summer student program in Germany. The research program will take place starting from 4 July 2022 to 29 August 2022, and the research working time will be 40 hours a week.
Changes may be done or lead to cancellation due to the COVID pandemic. The application process is entirely online. Students will receive subsistence allowance and trance allowance and a contract of 8 weeks’ internship for international students in Europe.
It is a good opportunity for German and international students to gain research experience and open doors to a future career. Students will gain not only research experience but also exposure to international standard labs and site visits. It is also a good opportunity to explore the culture of Germany in the capital city, Berlin. Most of all this, there is no requirement of IELTS or TOEFL.
