The applications for Aurora Prize for Awakening Humanity 2023 are open now. The award is granted on behalf of the survivors of the Armenian Genocide. The Aurora Prize is a gratitude to honor the saviors of the Armenian Genocide. The competition requires you to address on-the-ground humanitarian challenges faced worldwide. You may demonstrate helping the most impoverished ones.

The Aurora Prize is dedicated to the modern-day heroes who risk their lives, health and freedom to save other. The unsung heroes, who protect others, fight for the freedom of others. People who have been in violence and conflicts to fight for the human rights. Aurora sheds light on those who take a stand for human rights violations.

The international competition aims to notice some crucial issues in the world. Raising awareness about particular problems where help is needed. This is an initiative to give voice to humanity and engage people in humanitarian acts.

    • The application process for the Aurora Prize for Awakening Humanity is online.
    • Please provide your correct personal contact.
    • Please fill out the form correctly and submit it before the deadline.
    • The Aurora Secretariat and Expert Panel do the nominations.
    • The panel will shortlist 20 participants.
    • The members of the Aurora prize review the list of 20 nominees.
    • Lastly, the committee’s expertise, nomination forms and additional information will determine the winner.

    Application Process:

    • One must submit their application directly to the CSC using the CSC online application system. The request must be submitted and approved by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for which you have the academic appointment. The CSC will not accept any application that is not submitted through the CSC’s online application system.
    • Only one application per applicant will be accepted for these scholarships.
    • Supporting Documentation: You must provide the following supporting documentation by 4:00 PM (BST) on April 14, 2020 in order for the application to be eligible for consideration:
    • Proof of citizenship or refugee status; a copy of your valid passport (or national identification card) showing your photograph, date of birth and country of citizenship, uploaded in the online application system
    • Complete college transcripts and certificates detailing the qualification dates for your primary medical degree – uploaded to the online application system
    • Academic reference from the Head of the Teaching Hospital Department that describes how the acquired skills are required. All references must be submitted directly by the referees to the online application system (the referees will receive an application by email)
    • An endorsement from the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine in which you have the academic appointment that confirms your academic appointment sent directly by the Dean to the online application system (an application will be sent by email to the Dean)
    • Statement of Support from Your Proposed First Choice Supervisor at UK University Hospital – Submitted Directly to CSC (Request to Email Supervisors)
    • The CSC will not accept supporting documents
