The Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF) welcomes applications for the 12th ASEF JOURNALISTS SEMINAR 2019 in Madrid, Spain. The seminar fully funded by ASEF will take place from December 13 to 14, 2019 in Madrid, Spain. ASEFJS12 is a parallel event of the 14th Meeting of Foreign Ministers of ASEM (ASEMFMM14). Applicants do not need to pay anything. There is no application fee and IELTS / TOEFL is not required.
As a training-oriented event, the 12th ASEF Journalist Seminar (ASEFJS12) will explore how media organizations and journalists in Asia and Europe can adopt and strengthen a trust-based reporting approach.
The 2-day training-oriented event will bring together young journalists and media professionals from ASEF partner countries. The program aims to address the needs and challenges of journalists by providing them with the necessary tools to address misinformation in the digital age.
Through presentations by expert trainers, panel discussions, case studies from participating countries and the examination of the latest innovative media tools, participants will acquire the skills necessary to create their own initiatives at home.
