Entries are open for the Art for Well-being Competition 2023. The Art for Well-being competition seeks young people who can creatively express their feelings about well-being through art, music, and short films. This international competition is online; cash prizes will be distributed to the winners. Art is a fantastic tool for building helpful and valuable life skills; it is a way to connect with others through imagination, creativity and self-expression. We can express our feeling and emotions through art or music. So if you are looking for a way to express your feelings, this competition is for you!
PMNCH’s “Art for Well-being Competition” is open to young people ages 10 to 24. The competition with cash prizes has three categories: film, video, or design, through which they want to see how you express yourself and answer the question, “What does well-being mean to you?”. This competition and the “What Young People Want” Initiative are some ways to give the floor to young people worldwide to express what they want for their well-being. This competition supports the Global Forum for Adolescents and the 1.8 Campaign. Quality and relevance to the five domains of teenagers’ well-being will be necessary for successful competition entry. Selected masterpieces will be published at the Global Forum for Adolescents itself.
At the request of PMNCH, participants will have the option to collaborate in the activities of the Art for Well-being competition, including publicity related to the announcements of the winners across all media like radio, internet, and television. The competition participants are compelled to provide current, accurate and complete information when participating in this international competition. Before presenting the prize, PMNCH may request a winner to send proof of their identity. Parental consent must also be granted by a parent or guardian for underage (under 18 years of age) participants.
