What is the Y&Y Scholarship Program made of?

• Mentoring relationship: Young social entrepreneurs and corporate professionals are connected by Y&Y to turn their business experience and passion for social change into a viable plan. Mentors are combined with a mentor and a partner based on the strengths of the mentors and the needs of the entrepreneur. Fellows are educated through a structured 6-month online program, which guarantees an effective transfer of knowledge and guidance due to mentoring guidelines, Y&Y monitoring, as well as frequent performance reviews.
  Business plan development: members join the Y&Y online platform, a curated learning trip exclusively designed to meet the main needs and challenges of social entrepreneurs in the early stages. With the support of their peers and mentors, Y&Y Fellows complete a series of tasks that include the following modules: solution and strategy, revenue model, marketing strategy, impact measurement, partnerships, funding and grants, and Pitch and Storytelling.
• Final online launching contest: this is the last phase of the Y&Y Scholarship Program. It is an opportunity for Y&Y Fellows to present their social businesses to a team of real investors, build their presentation skills and test their presentation decks. Launching competitions offer a unique platform where new companies can get early exposure and attention from investors and other interested parties.
• The global community of Y&Y alumni: Y&Y members who successfully complete all mandatory assignments receive a graduation certificate and join our exclusive network of alumni. Being a member of Y&Y means having a support network of former fellows, business leaders, institutions and other like-minded social entrepreneurs around the world that will help them grow their business even more.
