Women are invited to apply for the Young Women Mentorship Program. The mentorship is open for Non-Proliferation and Disarmament. The applications are available till 8 July 2022. The program is arranged by the Vienna Center for Disarmament and Non-Proliferation (VCDNP) and International Affairs Institute (IAI). It will be an eight-month mentorship program from 12 September 2022 to 15 May 2023.
The mentorship program focuses on engaging women in non-proliferation, arms control, and disarmament. It is an initiative to spread awareness about these issues in women. Attend workshops, seminars and other activities to network and develop skills.
Female mentees will be teamed-up with reputed experts in the field. It will raise the chances of learning for women. There will be regular video conferences, sessions and other forms of communication to develop a network between the mentor and mentees. Furthermore, women will be a part of conferences, sessions and workshops. The NYPD mentorship also helps its mentees to participate in the Annual Conference of EU Non-proliferation and Disarmament Consortium. In Brussels, this will be held on November 14-15, 2022.
