    Here are the eligibility criteria for the World Summit Awards Call:

    • Applicants can be any company, organization, or individual belonging to the UN and UNESCO member states.
    • Digital applications should have high local value and more significant benefits to society.
    • Submissions include mobile applications, webpages, SMS-based products, databases, kiosk installations, IoT, wearables, etc. No limitation as to the channel or platforms used for the project.
    • Projects can be of 2 years max old at the time of nomination.
    • No drafts, outlines, or ideas for a project will be accepted. They should be already market-ready or available on the market.
    • The evaluation criteria of the WSA are user value, content, and impact of digital solutions on the local community.

    Application Process:

    • Compose an introductory mail of your project to your respective WSA National Expert. They will help you to apply for the WSA. Also, some states offer applications through a national contest or other forms.
    • The WSA National will evaluate and review the project following the eligibility criteria and standards of the WSA. After critically evaluating your project based on local impact, innovation, and content, the WSA National expert will decide to nominate your project or not.
    • After getting nominated in the eight categories of the WSA, your WSA National Expert will enter your data in the WSA Contest Database. Ensure to provide valid data.
    • Then, you will receive a confirmation email inviting you to complete your application form. Also, make sure to check your spam folder.
    • Carefully complete and submit your application.
    • Now, you are officially enrolled in the global WSA.
    • A special internationally assembled Jury will carefully evaluate the projects.
