Applications are open for the UNTBLDC-TWAS exchange program for talented scientists who have completed MSc or preferably a PhD degree. The program is open for scientists from least developing countries to visit and work in Cape Town, South Africa and New Delhi in India. The duration of this exchange program is six months.
This program aims to provide equal opportunity to least developing countries to move forward and become acquainted with the scientific process and research and teach them how to transfer the knowledge to the younger generation for innovation. In addition, selected scientists will get an opportunity to get exposure to the international scientific environment and institutions.
United Nations Technology Bank for least developing countries will cover all the travel expenses and cost of participants’ stay. In addition, the international centre will provide the lab and research support funds for genetic engineering and biotechnology.
