Application are open for the Youth Champions for Disarmament. The United Nations Office for Disarmament Affairs is looking for young people (18-24 years old) motivated to use their talents to help raise awareness and promote change for a more peaceful and secure world. Request the Youth Champions for Disarmament now!

In addition to young people interested in international affairs or international relations, people with experience in other areas such as history, science, economics, languages, cinema, media, dance, songs, theater, visual arts, creative writing or any other. Recommend that you submit a request.

The objective of this program is to bring together a group of eclectic and geographically diverse young people, from all over the world, who can become advocates for disarmament.

The ten young champions will receive training in general principles of disarmament, non-proliferation and control of weapons through online courses and a two-week study tour in person in Vienna, Geneva, Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The study tour will take place in June 2020.

Eligibility Criteria :

Application Process:

The application process for the fully funded DAAD EPOS Scholarship 2027 is online.

Applications must be sent directly to the respective University. Applications sent to the DAAD will not be considered or forwarded to the appropriate courses.

Applicants must send their complete application with all the required documents directly to the appropriate postgraduate course.

Applicants can apply for up to three postgraduate courses. If they choose more than one course, they must mention the list of courses in order of priority in the DAAD application form.

The application must be submitted in English or German.

A selection committee will suggest the potential applicants for this DAAD EPOS scholarship in Germany.

DAAD will contact the suggested applicants to upload their complete application to the DAAD Portal.

Make sure that you have a copy of each application document ready in PDF files, as those documents have to be uploaded to the DAAD Portal in case the applicant is suggested for the DAAD scholarship 2027.
