The Unilever Young Entrepreneurs Awards can help you take your sustainability initiative, product or service to the next level. Take a look at what you need to know about this year’s Awards.
Unilever believes that the world will only achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals if we all start thinking and working differently. That means a real change towards meaningful partnerships and collaboration across the range of actors, from governments to NGOs, and large companies to start-ups.
That is why, six years ago, the Unilever Young Entrepreneurs Awards began to recognize and support brilliant young innovators who face the greatest environmental and social challenges on the planet and to help them achieve an impact scale.
Each year, they provide financial support to up to eight winners to help them grow, with the general winner of the Prince of Wales HRH Award for Young Sustainability Entrepreneurs, who receives € 50,000.
All winners attend a residential Accelerator Program administered by the Sustainability Leadership Institute of the University of Cambridge, followed by a year of mentoring support fully tailored to their needs.
This can range from business support to personal development training, whichever is most necessary to help the entrepreneur and his business succeed. And where it is right for both sides, they will support the entrepreneur to open doors and make new commercial connections, either within Unilever or elsewhere.
So, if you are working on an innovative and scalable technology or initiative, or if you know someone who is, which contributes to one or more of the eight categories, then they want to hear from you.
