University of California Santa Cruz announces UC Santa Cruz Regent Scholarships for international students for the academic year 2021-2022. The scholarship is open for all international as well as domestic students who wish to pursue undergraduate degree program at UC Santa Cruz.
The scholarship will award $20,000 that will be paid for over 4 years of the undergraduate program, and transfer students will receive $10,000 in 2 years. They will also receive a campus housing guarantee. Candidates will also get the chance to attend events that will help them connect with other scholars to expand their network. Scholarships will be renewed every year if the students maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above. International students must hold a valid visa; US students can also apply.
University of California Santa Cruz was established in 1965; they accommodate 80% of its students with scholarships, grants, loans or part-time work for the undergraduate program. The institute minimizes the financial burden by offering scholarships; one of them is the Regent scholarship. They also prepare their students with employment skills, knowledge and confidence for their future careers.
