Opportunities circle comes up with another great opportunity The Girl Rising Storytelling Challenge 2020
In recent months, the COVID19 pandemic has revealed deep-seated racial, economic and gender inequalities. Social impacts are felt most deeply by people of color, women and girls who are historically disadvantaged. At the same time, extraordinary people around the world are working courageously for fairness, justice and a better future.
Now is an important time to listen and learn from each other. Through this challenge, Girl Rising wants to highlight the powerful work you are doing to create a more just and equal world. If you are a teenager in Texas organizing dialogues between the local police and the students; a team of educators in Guatemala delivering learning materials to girls in rural areas; a group of young women in Nairobi distributing menstrual hygiene and health supplies; or an organization in Thailand that teaches young people how to make movies: this call is for everyone to amplify their voice.
