Apply for the UK’s First Accelerator Program Focusing on Black Social Entrepreneurs – The Collective Impact Residency.

The Residency is a 6-month program during which you will receive individualized tutoring and coaching, group workshops, and have access to our network of partners and investors. You will be part of a cohort of exceptional founders and the broader community of The Collective Foundation. The events of the program last 3 full days in the first week of each month, during which you will remain in The Collective’s coexistence building in Canary Wharf.

Impact Residency is a six-month program to equip a cohort of 5 black social entrepreneurs with the resources and connections to grow their business and achieve even greater impact.

    Black businessmen. Eligible entrepreneurs must have a majority stake or significant decision-making power in the organization.

    • Social impact should be the top priority of the startup. Non-profit and for-profit organizations that align with four Focus Areas:
    • Social integration: you make communities more inclusive, break down social barriers and reduce loneliness.
    • Health and well-being: you help people improve and maintain their physical and / or mental health.
    • Economic Opportunity – You create opportunities for people facing structural economic disadvantage and exclusion.
    • Environmental sustainability: mobilizes people in communities to be more aware of the environment and generate a systemic change in behaviors.
    • INITIAL STAGE BUSINESS: You can show them that your product or service has already benefited people. While it is not a strict rule, they generally work with startups that are less than 5 years old and have not yet raised Series A funds.
    • UNITED KINGDOM HEADQUARTERS – Candidates from across the UK. However, candidates will need to make sure to attend London for the monthly event schedule (subject to future COVID-19 travel restrictions and public health guidelines).

    • The application process for the fully funded DAAD EPOS Scholarship 2027ย is online.ย 
    • Applications must be sent directly to the respective University. Applications sent to the DAAD will not be considered orย forwardedย to theย appropriate courses.ย 
    • Applicants must send their complete application with all the required documents directly to theย appropriate postgraduateย course.ย 
    • Applicants can apply for up to three postgraduate courses. If they choose more than one course, they must mention the list of courses in order of priority in the DAAD application form.ย 
    • The application must beย submittedย in English or German.ย 
    • A selection committee will suggest the potential applicants for this DAAD EPOS scholarship in Germany.ย 
    • DAAD will contact the suggested applicants to upload their complete application to the DAAD Portal.ย 
    • Make sure that you have a copy of each application document ready in PDF files, as those documentsย have toย be uploaded to the DAAD Portal in case the applicant is suggested for the DAAD scholarship 2027.ย
