The Taipei Design Award 2022 is now accepting applications. Designers from diverse professions worldwide are invited to apply. Taipei City Government organized the Taipei Design Award in the spirit of “Design for Adaptive City” as an ongoing gesture to the world, particularly to individuals with a passion for creativity and design, reflecting the urban branding imagery of “Design Taipei; Dream Taipei.”
This competition is an open call for outstanding international designers as part of an effort to turn Taipei into a convergence platform for creative designs. Furthermore, discover innovative designs with commercial potential and encourage social design practices in the belief that design as a medium can make people’s lives better, more pleasant, and convenient.
Categories of Taipei Design Award:
Entries in the three competition categories are listed below:
- Industrial design: It includes general and digital applications, equipment, and instruments, transportation tools, daily utilities and domestic goods, home appliances, information technology, etc.
- Visual communication design: Digital graphic creations, identification, posters, packaging, and printing are all examples of visual communication design.
- Public space design: Open space, government buildings, and private enterprises partially open to the public are all examples of public space design.
