The Stay Stoked award 2021 is open to all the wayfinders from around the world. This is an excellent opportunity for the wayfinders in need of financial support for their education, community development projects, internships etc. The award must be used for any project or educational purpose that contributes to ending Plastic pollution.

Every member of the Wayfinder society is an integral part of the process of ending plastic. A minor contribution of you can help us succeed in our project. Every member is unique, and your journey as a Wayfinder is valued.

    Eligibility Criteria :

    To be considered for the stay stoked award, candidates must meet the following criteria:

    • Application is open to any Wayfinder from around the world.
    • Candidates must not be under the age of 11 and not above the age of 25.
    • Disabled people can apply.
    • People of any gender, race, creed, ethnicity can apply.
    • Be an active member of Wayfinder society.
    • The candidate must be committed to ending plastic pollution on a national or international level.
    • Candidates should have been awarded the Cairns for the following the way-marks:
    1. The story of Plastic-Watch the film
    2. The story of Plastic- Stop and Jot
    3. The story of Plastic- System Mapping
    • Candidates must state their projects, education and other social contributions in their application.

    Benefits :

    • The winner will be awarded a sum of $15,000.
    • The minimum prize is $500.

    The candidates must show their commitment to combat plastic pollution by providing details of their projects with their application. The project can be on a regional, national or international level and should focus on the following areas (not limited to):

    1. Social justice
    2. Zero waste
    3. Social sciences
    4. Marketing
    5. Business communication
    6. Philosophy
    7. Environmental justice
    8. Chemistry
    9. Science
    10. Policy
    11. Any area focusing on ending plastic pollution.
    • Candidates must elaborate on the reason why they should receive the Stay stoked award. Candidates must also attach two reference letters and a letter of recommendation along with their contact details.
    • Your references should be adults who have an idea about your work to combat plastic pollution. Family members can not be your references.
    • The recommendation letter must not exceed 3000 characters (500 words). No extra information must be included, as once you submit the information, it will be considered public.
    • Letters must be in the English language. Feel free to contact us in case of translating your letters to English ([email protected]).
