    Academic records
Unofficial transcripts are required for each school or academic program in which you took graded courses from Fall 2018 through Fall 2020. If you have multiple report cards from one school, instead of one transcript from that school, combine them in a single file to upload. Home schooled applicants are required to submit a document similar to a transcript with their course work for the years listed above. Home schooled students are also required to submit transcripts of any qualifying courses they have taken with a school or program during this period.
    Work samples)
At least one sample of the student’s work will be required. Two may be required depending on the courses the applicant indicates interest in. Work samples must have been completed as a school assignment within the senior year and must demonstrate the student’s best effort. If possible, your sample should show qualified work and the indication or instructions, but no qualified work is required. Work samples older than two years will not be accepted. Please see the Online Application for more details on what your work sample should be.
    Teacher recommendation (s)

You can consider this a conversation between you and the Stanford Admissions Committee, or you can also choose to tell us something that you have not mentioned elsewhere in the application. If you are attending a school where the primary language of instruction is a language other than English, we strongly recommend that you complete the video essay.
