Spencer Foundation Research Grants 2020 Fully Funded

Eligibility Criteria :

The proposals for the Educational Research Scholarship program must be for academic research projects that aim to study education. Proposals for non-research activities are not eligible (for example, program evaluations, professional development, curriculum development, scholarships, capital projects). In addition, proposals for research studies focusing on areas other than education are not eligible.

Principal Investigators (PI) and Co-PIs applying for a small research grant in education must have a PhD obtained in an academic discipline or professional field, or appropriate experience in a profession related to educational research. While graduate students may be part of the research team, they cannot be named PI or Co-PI in the proposal.

The IP must be affiliated with a nonprofit organization that is willing to serve as an administering organization if the grant is awarded. The Spencer Foundation does not grant grants directly to individuals. Examples include colleges, universities, school districts and nonprofit research facilities, as well as other nonprofit organizations with a 501 (c) (3) IRS determination.

here is eligibility criteria for  Spencer Foundation Research Grants US proposals are accepted. UU. And internationally, however, all proposals must be submitted in English and budgets must be proposed in US dollars.

Restrictions :

• The proposed budgets for this program are limited to a total of $ 50,000 and may not include charges for indirect costs under Spencer’s policy.
• The proposed projects cannot last more than 5 years.
• IPs and Co-PIs can only have one active research grant from the Spencer Foundation at a time. (This restriction does not apply to the administering organization; organizations can submit as many proposals as they want, provided they are for different projects and have different research teams).
• IPs and Co-IPs cannot submit more than one application for a specific period of time in this program.
