Akademie Schloss Solitude fellowship program in Germany is an amazing residential fellowship opportunity offered in various areas. Scholars artists, scientists, and business representatives from throughout the world are invited to apply for fellowships in the following fields:
- Visual arts and media: Painting, sculpture, drawing, installation, cinema, video, printing, ceramics, textiles, and performance are all examples of this.
- AURAL & PHYSICAL – Music and performance arts: Music, interpretation and composition, sound installation, dance, choreography, drama, theatre, music theatre, dramaturgy, sound performance, and directing are all examples of this.
- Digital Solitude: Digital art, gaming, hacking, computing, programming, web-based video creation and installation, digital journalism, and digital publication are all examples of digital art.
- Architecture and design: Architecture, urban planning, landscape architecture, applied arts, fashion design, costume design, design, stage design, product design, and furniture design are among the disciplines covered.
- Language and literature: Incorporates all written forms of German-language and foreign literature (dramatic texts, lyric poetry, prose, essay, and translation).

Since its inception in 1990, Akademie Schloss Solitude has supported over 1,400 young artists from over 120 countries as part of its international Artist-in-Residence Program. It generates a close-knit, worldwide, and transdisciplinary Solitude alumni network that grows year after year. The duration of the scholarship in Germany is usually 6 months, 9 months and 12 months.
