We will cover US-specific and global macroeconomics, financial market conditions, drivers of wealth creation in a given society, and the role of “place” in it, demographics, social trends, dynamics, and measurement of regional, local and neighborhood values. economies, and then identifying specific assets most likely to align with the resulting investment strategy. We will cover a variety of investment strategies, from CORE, Value Added, Distress (and Near-Distress), as well as the Development decision, and how and when to pivot between strategies, and will extract from proprietary data sets as well as the collection of existing data publicly available.
For this program, we will look at one or more asset classes as examples: office, industrial, self-storage, student housing, alternative housing in the United States (single-family rental, manufactured housing).
