University of Sydney Postgraduate Research Scholarship 2022

The University of Sydney is offering a Postgraduate research scholarship. This scholarship is offered to provide financial assistance to PhD students to conduct research in the cardiovascular rehabilitation and secondary prevention field as part of an NHMRC Synergy Grant. SOLVE-CHD aims to transform post-discharge secondary prevention and reduce the burden of heart disease by decreasing deaths, hospitalizations and costs via a program of work that integrates data, technology, partnerships and capacity building.

An NHMRC Synergy Grant funds the Postgraduate research scholarship qualified to solve the long-standing evidence practice gap linked with cardiac rehabilitation and secondary prevention of coronary heart disease (SOLVE-CHD).  The University of Sydney is known for Arts and Social Sciences, Business, Engineering and Information Technologies, Health Science Medicine, and Health and Science. This scholarship only covers the tuition fees.

    • Candidates have to apply for admission or be enrolled to study full-time in a PhD at the Faculty of Medicine and Health.
    • They must be willing to research cardiovascular rehabilitation and secondary prevention.

    • A total of $96,000 for three years will be provided.
